Current opportunities
Prospective students |
I would love to hear from passionate and outstanding prospective students (M.S. or Ph.D.). If I have funding available to support new students, I will list specific opportunities above. Otherwise, bringing in a new student will be contingent upon securing funding and you will have to work on it with me first. Examples of things you could look into:
Send me (Panpim) an email at [email protected]. Please include your CV, unofficial transcript, and a short description of your research interests (broad or specific) and/or career interests.
If you want to learn more about current lab research interest, I highly recommend reading this review paper before contacting me. Extra points if you include in your email why you find this topic interesting.
- Department of Entomology and Nematology at UF/IFAS provides a few scholarship and assistantship for outstanding students. The application deadline is around mid January so you will have to start working on this by Nov the year before you intend to start school (for Fall semester). More info in the graduate handbook.
- NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Deadline is in November the year before you intend to start.
- Graduate Women In Sciences

Postdocs:
I have no funding to support a postdoc at this time but feel free to get in touch with me if you want to work together to secure funding and work on a research topic related to my lab's interest.
